Yael Goldstein-Love is the author of the novels Overture, The Passion of Tasha Darsky, hailed by The New York Times as showing, “signs of brooding genius,” and The Possibilities, which was shortlisted for a 2024 World Fantasy Award. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Boston Globe, Slate, The Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association, and many other places and has been adapted for screen and translated into several languages. A graduate of Harvard University and The Wright Institute, she lives with her family in Oakland, CA.
When not writing, she practices psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with a particular interest in working with new or expecting parents, individually or as couples, and those looking to explore inhibitions around desire and creative work.
